As Vice Chairman of GenWEL United Flint, Jasen Johnson is a dedicated leader with a passion for empowering communities and building brighter futures. Although he does not live in Flint, Jasen’s commitment to the organization’s mission transcends geography, as he works tirelessly to uplift underserved communities through programs focused on education, mentorship, and literacy.

Jasen’s journey of giving back began long before his current role. Over the course of eight years, he coached youth sports, sharing his knowledge and instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in young athletes. He also spent two incredible years leading a football and cheerleader organization with over 500 participants, finding immense fulfillment in creating opportunities for youth to thrive and grow.

Guided by the mantra "Stand on History, Build on Legacy, Be the Blueprint of Tomorrow," Jasen’s work reflects his belief in the power of service and unity. Beyond his leadership at GenWEL United Flint, he is a devoted father and grandfather, cherishing his role as a mentor and supporter to his family and community.

Through his work, Jasen continues to inspire hope, drive change, and create a lasting impact—one individual and one community at a time.
